A HOUSE FOR MICHELANGELO ANTONIONI

 

THE HOUSE OF NOT YET

 

Imagine a bridge eternally postponing its arrival on the other side. Maybe an un-bridging bridge. A doubtful bridge. The “bridge” of NOT YET.

 

But paradoxically such a “deficient bridge” tells us a truth the “healthy ones of the world do not.

 

This “deficient bridge” has the courage to show us its incompleteness. Thus, it is closer to our trembling hearts.

 

Antonioni “designed” such “deficient bridges” through all his films.

 

Let’s salute his courage! Let’s salute his telling is the truth.

 

And let’s design The House of Not Yet.
